Watch GB in the Davis Cup - free on BBC Sport
How to watch Andy Murray and co in the Davis Cup free on the BBC…
Good news for tennis fans… BBC Sport is streaming Great Britain’s Davis Cup group stage matches in Glasgow this week, starting with the GB vs the USA today.
A very strong British line-up features Andy Murray, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans, all ranked in the world top 50; plus Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski, respectively ranked numbers 1 and 3 in the world for doubles.
Group D also includes the Netherlands and Kazakhstan.
Andy Murray returns after missing last year’s competition, which this week he admitted was a mistake. He told a news conference: “I regretted not being involved last year…I was tired and I wasn't sure if it was something I necessarily still wanted to be involved with because all of these guys deserve to compete in the team and whether it was necessary for me to be there.
"As soon as I turned the matches on to start watching I was like 'What am I doing? Like, it's a mistake'. I wanted to be there and be there for the team and try and help.”
Andy is a bit of a Davis Cup legend: when GB won the competition seven years ago he contributed 11 of the 12 points they required for victory.
